This course is aimed at all persons / fire wardens in the workplace, the aim is that they must understand the legislation relevant to fire prevention, the type of fire extinguishers available and their usage and that all persons fully understand the legislation relevant to fire prevention and fire precautions. Everyone must also  understand the cause of fire how it can spread.

It is vital they fully understand the classification of fire and the methods required to extinguish them, and that all persons can identify the types of fire extinguisher to use on different classes of fire.

The role of the fire warden is crutial in ensuring that personnel are evacuated efficiently from the work place and sent to a place of safety.

Deligates attending this course will be trained to understand their role as a fire warden and know the management proceedures involved in a safe system of work.
